Here's the latest on the film: http://www.digitalsp...-drops-out.html

Is it just me that thinks this is the worst idea ever? The original is one of my favourite films and making a sequel will ruin it for me... and the ending of the first film rules out a decent storyline in a second. Everyone I know gets really excited at the thought of this, though.

And don't start mentioning Toy Story 2. :verymad: (Sequels in general are ruining the film industry as nobody wants to make a brand new concept over reusing a previous successful one... agree? Yes, you do.)

Why Pixar, why?! Monster's Inc. was already a huge hit as it was, and I agree with you, that making sequels to something is just horrible (unless the series originally started as a pile of  ).

It depends, Pixar & Disney suck at sequels. Dream works can sometimes get a number 2 that's good, but that's all. Anything after 2 for dream works isn't good.

Also I heard that they were going for a third toy story. Not a good idea if you ask me....

Rofl, a 3rd Toy Story. I bet I can see where it's going.

Toy Story 3: Lost in New York.

For me, sequels are only good if they're originally intended as part of a trilogy or something, like The Matrix or Lord of the Rings.

I think that it would be interesting to see another. Just because they make a second one why should you hate the first? Just don't go see it.

It alters the storyline so what you thought was a happy ending wasn't a happy ending.

Oh dear God no.

I will have no respect for Pixar if it happens.
